 Japan is really humid, so be sure to ventilate when taking a bath or shower. If you don't ventilate the walls, mold will grow on it. This is not only bad for your health, but also when it is time to move out of the apartment the landlord will use your deposit money to get rid of the mold.
Also, if your toilet backs up and overflows, causing leakage to the floors downstairs, you will have to compensate for the damages. Take extra care with your toilet-do not flush anything except toilet paper! (Tissues, sanitary products, even hair may cause it to back up.) |
